The Arc of Southeast Iowa, an Iowa City/Johnson County based autonomous, not for profit agency, serves over 500 families in a 13 county service area in southeast Iowa providing an array of services and programs for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc of Southeast Iowa employs a staff of 350 employees.
The Arc of Southeast Iowa was formed in 1957 by a group of parents and professionals interested in the welfare of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Since that time, The Arc has been active in providing classes, supporting programs, encouraging legislation, and increasing public awareness of the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities.
Speakers/Programs:
